Innovating for a global AROUND THE WORLD THEME

Our Story – Globe in the Dark:

A Passport to the After Hours

At Globe in the Dark, we believe that every cocktail is a passport, and every sip is a stamp from a faraway land. Born from a family legacy of cocktail bar craftsmanship and a deep-rooted passion for global cultures, our lounge is more than just a place to drink — it’s a destination.

Tucked into the heart of Desert Ridge, Phoenix, Globe in the Dark was imagined as a haven where wanderlust meets nightlife. With just 800 square feet, we transformed an intimate space into a vibrant, immersive journey — a curated world tour in a glass. From Tokyo to Paris, Rio to Mumbai, every corner of our bar is a celebration of a country’s essence, told through flavors, stories, and design.

Each cocktail is paired with handcrafted glassware reminiscent of its origin — ceramic tumblers from Japan, mosaic glass from Brazil, or gold-rimmed elegance from France. Your visit begins with your “passport” — a loyalty card you get stamped with each global cocktail you try. Complete the map, and you’ve completed a flavorful journey across continents.

Our staff? They’re not just servers — they’re “flight attendants” and “globetrotter mixologists,” each trained to share the rich history and cultural backstory of your chosen drink. Whether you’re on a romantic layover or a celebratory expedition with friends, our space is designed to ignite your senses — with regional scents, music, visuals, and even projections of skylines and constellations from across the globe.

More than a bar, Globe in the Dark is a story — of travel, taste, connection, and discovery. And as we continue to expand this concept across the U.S., our mission remains rooted in crafting unforgettable, passport-worthy moments for every guest.

So, take your seat, check your passport, and prepare for departure.

The world is waiting — one cocktail at a time.
